Why internet translators are bad

I was looking for a sock pattern to knit and I found one, it has one problem; it is in Norwegian (maybe) and the translation from google translate is hilarious. Not all the word came through at all well, and that is why we don't use online translators to do our homework.
On the actual knitting front, almost up to where I will split for the sleeves on the sweater, a not so good thing I will probably run out of the yarn in the body color before I finish with it.

Red kimono sweater

I am making a Kimono sweater, the design is based off of Knitty's Kumo but with some sizing differences and fairly major design changes. The sweater is knit in one piece with a piece of color work on the back which will be from Stargate.
